Dr. Allu Rama Lingaiah Biography



Dr. Allu Rama Lingaiah (1 Oct 1922 – thirty July 2004) was An Indian Telugu comic actor from Palakol, World Health Organization appeared in over one thousand Tollywood films.

Film career:

Rama Lingaiah began his film career in 1953 with Puttillu and his last film Jai was within the year before his death. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1990 by the govt of Asian country, and received the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2001.

Rama Lingaiah compete unforgettable roles in classics like Mayabazar (as one in all the Sarma-Sastry duo), Missamma, Muthyala Muggu, Sankarabharanam (his speech preceding the song "Dorakunaa Ituvanti Seva" commenting on the downfall of contemporary music, and therefore the scene wherever he admonishes Somayajulu), Saptapadi, Yamagola ("Taalamu vesitini, gollemu marachitini!"), and various movies of the 80s, wherever he compete a soft and unhated villain with the likes of Raogopal Rao and Nagabhushanam. His comedic temporal order and his nasal voice distinguished his several comic performances.

Other works:

Allu Rama Lingiah was conjointly a homoeopathic doctor and insurgent.
Was in remission by British throughout Quit Asian country Movement.
Was featured in dramas for Praja Natya Mandali before change of integrity films and awarded the title 'Hasya Kala Prapoorna' by Nritya Kala Mandali.
His welfare work and concern for others is seen in his active support of the Chiranjeevi trust. Posthumously, he had his eyes given to the Chiranjeevi bank.

Awards:

Raghupathi Venkaiah Award within the year 2001.
Padma Shri award by Government of Asian country for his outstanding contribution to Telugu cinema as a comedy actor for the year 1990.[1] he's the second awardee of Padmashri when Relangi in 1970.
A sculpture of Rama Lingaiah stands undraped at Ramakrishna Beach in Visakhapatnam.
